4.17.00 ...I didn't expect this story to develop at first; I was only going to have this comic and that was it.

4.18.00 ...This comic really started a new focus on my drawing. The Indiana Jones series made me love drawing the comic again because I challenged myself to draw new things in a new style, often shying away from the usual big-eyed cartoon characters and into more imaginative environments. I was heavily influenced by Calvin and Hobbes when I realized much emphasis Watterson put on his artwork without sacrificing the storylines. I used Corbin's Treehouse as a reference for many of the aspects in this treehouse. I played in the woods so much when I was younger, mostly due to the fact that I'm immune to poison ivy. My brother and I mapped out our forest and had secret bases all over the place, but contrary to unpopular belief, I've never had a treehouse of my own.
