THE NEXT GENERATION

DIY
DIY is an exciting new community of kids who make things. Using an iOS app or website, kids document their creations in a customizable portfolio, where friends and family reward their efforts with stickers.
As Interactive Director, my primary focus was planning and designing the launch version of the app. I also developed several parts of the web experience, such as the community exploration page and web-based uploader.
The successful launch got coverage from the New York Times, Fast Company, and Wired, where the author praised the app's kid-friendly portfolio creation interface, noting, "my six-year-old managed all this with zero help from me."
