OKAYDAVE (2006 FLASH VERSION)
The original flash version of Okaydave.com launched back in 2006 as my student portfolio from Portfolio Center in Atlanta, Georgia. I stuffed 2 years' worth of projects in there, from a rebranding of the Kennedy Center to a 500-pound metal chair.
Short video case studies went into the concept behind each piece, revealing the sketches, mistakes, and prototypes behind the finished projects. It added a personal touch not usually present in traditional portfolios: when I went into job interviews, many people felt like they already knew me! It was a great first step into the professional world, and I haven't looked back since.
